Remember Hot Rod singing For everybody? let me introduce his followup single.

For some reason, this reminds me of a cheesy 80′s sitcom theme song. I kind of like Roddy’s singing, though. He’s at least trying.

Thanks for the submission, Sean.

    No Problem!

See the Nitro logo on the bottom right. Why was this shown on Nitro years after he recorded this? For mocking purposes from the nWo?

      I thought it was recorded/released in 1996?

A fan on Nitro ran up to the broadcast booth waving a videotape saying, “Piper wants Hogan!” So they had the production crew review the tape and then showed it on the air. Somewhere in that cheesy video was a scene where Piper looks upo and sees a marquee that says “Piper vs. Hogan”, and that’s suppose to be about him wanting to fight Hogan in WCW. So tr;ld, they were hyping Piper’s return to the ring.

Well that started off quite well with a slight 60s/garage feel – then those horrible backing vocals came in…and the guitar solo. Still that was the danger of making a record at that time, record procuders throwing everything at the wall.

  4. Kev says:

The song’s sucky, but purely as a singer Roddy’s actually not bad.

  5. Khaos Angel says:

It’s better than Hogan and the Wrestling Boot Band….although a cat in heat sounds better than that drizzle.

  6. Art0Donnell says:

I was hoping this would be a cover of the Richard Hell song, “I’m Your Man,” or at least of the Leonard Cohen song of the same name.

Why on earth Piper never recorded an album is beyond me.
