Crapper John Matrix writes:

Rey Misterio (the other one) terrorizes some dopey amateur film-makers in this wannabe slasher flick set in Mexico. Looks really lame, but at least the movie has a great title.

For additional entertainment, a lengthy review is also available:

That looks great! Thanks, John!

Here is my review of Wrestlemaniac

  2. Autrach Sejanoz says:

Having seen this film, I’m kinda surprised it hasn’t been inducted yet.

  3. Falcone says:

The original title was ‘The Mexican Porn Massacre’.

The film blatantly tries to mislead casuals by having ‘Rey Misterio’ listed as the star, rather than ‘Rey Misterio Sr.’. Then again, maybe nobody would pay to see a horror movie about a chubby 50 year old man killing people whilst wearing spandex.

  4. El J says:

I like how the trailer starts with The Film Fund with the emphasis on fun. I’ve sat through this flick and can safely say that the word fun is not a word I’d use to describe the experience

  5. John says:

Finally a movie made for those that felt the WWE Films line was too complicated and brainy.

  6. Hashington says:

Meh. If you want to see a real Mascarado Massacre, go watch a Sin Cara match.

Probably had something to do with his lucha name being Rey Misterio not Rey Misterio Sr.

  8. TMS says:

Leyla’s also in this piece of cinematic crap too. I own this movie (hangs head in shame) but it’s good for a laugh if you want to see some of the worse acting… well ever.
