Yes, The Macho Man Randy Savage appeared on “The Weird Al Show” and elbow-dropped Harvey The Wonder Hamster (Harvey sold it like a champ!).

Yes, something this awesome did in fact happen in our reality here on Earth. You are not dreaming or hallucinating.

Just seeing Randy Savage and Weird Al together on the same screen makes me smile. I also like The Macho Man’s Kool-Aid Man-esque entrance. They both say “OH YEAH!” after all!

If you’ve never seen “The Weird Al Show” before, you really ought to buy it on DVD (especially if you’re a Weird Al fan!).

It has its flaws (okay, it has a lot of flaws…) but it also has a lot of really funny, oddball, and creative moments. Buy it through this link and help to support WrestleCrap!

  1. Autrach Sejanoz says:

I read in an interview that Savage was the most difficult guest Al had on the show – specifically, he was adamant that the hamster that beat him had to be a male.

  2. Shawn Doc Girt says:

i swear i thought this clip waz made up. but it waz from the one episode of “The Weird Al Show” i missed. thought id seen em all but i caught this episode n still couldnt believe it existed.

  3. Wrestling Sickness says:

I seem to remember Weird Al saying that Savage didn’t want to job to the hamster PERIOD, as he thought it would make him look bad, and Al had a devil of a time convincing him that it was a JOKE and people would take it as such. But yeah, I LOVED the Weird Al Show (and I was in my mid twenties when it was first on the air)! My favorite sketch was always the trailer for his parody disaster movie “Slight Chance of Rain!”

Oh, and didn’t they do a Macho Man/Kool Aid Man “Oh Yeah Contest” on Family Guy?
