It Came From YouTube: Lex Luger on Hardcore Pawn

Crapper Justin Cook submitted this video of Lex Luger on Hardcore Pawn and he writes:

This is a video of Lex Luger selling some wrestling memorabilia for charity on Hardcore Pawn. Man, does he look frail today!

Well, you have to remember that whenever you saw him during his wrestling days, he was (allegedly) juiced to the gills so I don’t think it’s really fair to compare how he looked back in (for example) 1993 to how he looks today as a retired ex-wrestler.

Considering how sick and crippled he was a few years ago, I think he looks relatively good, actually and I’m just glad to see him able to walk again.

He’s managed to turn his life around from a pretty dark place, so kudos to him. Plus, he’s supporting a charity here, so he gets Good Karma points in my book.

Thanks for the submission, Justin!

I have to agree, all things considered, Lex looks relatively good, he walks with a cane, but walking with a cane is better than not walking at all. I’m glad to see he has turned his life around. Plus it was cool to see Lex on this show. Too bad it wasn’t back in the day, he could have been store security for an episode or two.

I agree, Paul. Kudos to Lex for turning his life around.

  3. John says:

“Lex since I had to watch those Lex Express videos back in 1993 you must pay me $500,000,000 and give me back my soul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

  4. Knoxx says:

Happily for Luger, he wasn’t dealing with Eric Bischoff or he would have to take 50 percent less than the bargain…

  5. "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

When you think about how some wrestlers have turned out after retiring (injured, deranged, drug addicts, etc) the fact that Lex has turned into a Christian who’s cleaned up his life and does motivational speaking mean he’s doing a whole lot better than some (most?). He was able to retire at a relatively young age.

That guy in the leather jacket was the slimiest looking mofo I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t trust him to wash my car, let alone keep my pawned stuff.

  7. TMS says:

I saw this episode when it aired, and I was thinking the same thing. Considering all Lex has been through in the last few years, he looks pretty good.

  8. Nick Sharpe says:

The robe (which looks to be the one he wore when he was a Horseman) is for sale on their website.

*hunts* Ok.. WAS for sale on their website. Looks like somebody paid the either $4500 or $6k they were asking for it.

Ugh. I hate Hardcore Pawn. Bunch of brain dead idiots coming into the store telling the business owners what they’re going to do and how much money they’re going to give them, then get pi$$ed when they don’t get 200 bucks for an old, broken Aiwa portable cd player. Plus, the store owners are a bunch of bickering idiots as well.

Classless, worthless, totally ignorant dip$#!&$ are all that’s on that show.

Why not take it to the Pawn Stars guys? Their show is 5,000 times better anyway.
