It Came From YouTube: 1987 WWF LJN figures commercial with singing wrestlers

“Bring home all the action!”.

This is a 1987 commercial for WWF LJN figures featuring The Macho Man Randy Savage, Miss Elizabeth (looking great) and Kamala (?) together singing along with other WWF Superstars.

That’s a pretty catchy song! Now it will be stuck in my head for the rest of the day…

I still have all of my LJN wrestling figures, everything from the standard figures to the thumb wrestlers, bendies, stretch wrestlers, and the giant sized Hulk Hogan and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper that LJN also released. Who could forget the iconic Blue Bar Cage accessory that was sold seperately? They also made a bendie version ring which came with a standard fence-like steel cage. Ahh, memories of my childhood, and no collection was complete without SD Jones and Ted Arcidi.

Was that the Bruno figure at the end with the giant smashed up looking nose? Why no Duke of Dorchester figure?

    I remember this commercial

“You’ll have da the thrills all da fun
    HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXFKTRquSKk – I need to just start emailing these to you guys. This is actually a weird match, because the top rope broke during the match and the announcers play off Orton being unable to use his superplex finisher because of it. Not bad for a Superstars match.

My Hogan actually has a bad leg due me ripping it apart. I would sell them, but a lot of my figures are beaten up because I used to actually wrestle matches with them.
