Crapper Aaron Oster writes:

Not much leaves me speechless, but when I stumbled across this the other day, I couldn’t fully formulate the words. Yes, this is a wrestling parody of the Super Bowl Shuffle done by the AWA. So many amazing parts to this that I can’t decide who is best.

Ah, yes! We’ve inducted this video before; but you really have to see the thing to appreciate how awesome it is.

Least Nick Bockwinkel and Greg Gagne seemed to be making an effort…

  2. Rusty Shackleford says:

R.I.P Metrodome. Never hosted a WrestleMania, but hopefully the new stadium taking its place will one day…

  3. patricko says:

Why’d it look like Shawn and Marty were hanging out at a Chucky Cheese? walked in, checked out the Chucky Cheese action, walked out.

And may I just say: I’m relieved that speedos-as-rap-wear did not catch on.

Oh, and Blackwell was the worst.

  4. Dan Sheldon says:

Oh No Curt Hennig, tell me it isn’t so, I thought you thought rap was crap.

  5. Art0Donnell says:

If only the Iron Sheik had been at Wrestlerock…

  7. James says:

Curt made his skank look like Candi Devine on that bump into the pool…

Never noticed it was on 4/20 before, seems appropriate.

You know that video really made Ken Resnick officially the most punchable person on the planet. I’ve seen the Ed Whalin’s, the Rob Bartletts’, the Mark Maddens’, etc. etc. announcing but that guy was a putz to end all putzes. Good Lord, Verne had me wanting to roll over in my grave.

    This is absolutely fantastic.

Speaking of the AWA, news of the Orioles playing to no fans tomorrow made me think of the Team Challenge Series.

Will there be a Turkey On A Pole Competition during the seventh inning stretch?

  11. Vince B says:

Nobody told me Scott Hall had an epic pornstache.

  12. Doc 902714 says:

    R.I.P Verne Gagne.

  13. Doc75 says:

I can’t decide what my favorite part is: The Rockers randomly turning up at some kids’ balloon-strewn party in Chuck E Cheese quality shirts? The random models and impersonators they hired to pop up between the verses to unenthusiastically say ‘WrestleRock! Rumble?’ (though I have to toss some props to the Marilyn impersonator for trying)? Greg Gagne trying to project thunderous anger and instead giving us EZ Bake Oven-quality heat? Hall and Hennig getting shoved into a pool by said random models? Larry Z’ s verse? Delightfully awful, cheesy gold.

  16. TheOneManChainGang says:

Wooow… I dare the WWE promote Wrestlemania 32 like this.

  17. "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

This music video is a lot of fun which is way more than I can say about the current WWE product.
