ALERT: New “It Came From YouTube” submission policy

My fellow Crappers, Because WWE has been having their content that has been posted by third parties pulled from YouTube, I have decided to stop accepting submissions for It Came From YouTube from YouTube that feature WWE-owned footage unless it is posted by WWE on WWE’s own YouTube channel. That includes WWE, WCW, ECW, and so on- things like footage Continue Reading...

Someone Bought This: Meet Wild Cat Willie (and be afraid!)

Again from The Wrestling Card Collector’s Page comes this Wild Cat Willie (W.C.W- Get It?) trading card from this line of WCW Main Event Trading Cards put out in 1995. If Mr. Willie (boy, that sounds wrong) doesn’t look familiar; it’s because he was the mascot WCW used to bring out before WCW Worldwide and Saturday Night tapings would start Continue Reading...

Someone Bought This: The WWF 1995 Year In Review VHS tape is a tape nobody should want to own

13 Submitted by on Sat, 28 February 2015, 02:00
This is the 1995 WWF Year In Review tape released by Coliseum Home Video. Look at that match list! It’s like a virtual WrestleCrap induction list. Good news: The tape features the Shawn/Razor ladder match from SummerSlam. Bad news: That match is apparently clipped so you don’t get to see the full match here. Good news: So is everything else Continue Reading...

Someone Bought This: Tatanka’s greatest moment is really lame

7 Submitted by on Thu, 26 February 2015, 02:00
From The Wrestling Collector’s Card Page and this line of 1993 Good Humor trading cards comes this Tatanka card. Each card features a wrestler telling us what their greatest moment is. You know, I really hope Chris Chavis didn’t really say that because it’s such a word salad of meaningless, stereotypical nonsense. I dare you guys to read it out loud Continue Reading...

Someone Bought This: The Good Humor people love The Smoking Gunns!

From The Wrestling Card Collectors page comes a whopping three (!) Smoking Gunns cards from the set of cards you could get in Good Humor Ice Cream boxes in 1995. You may be asking yourself why they decided to put three different cards of The Smoking Gunns in the same series of cards. The answer is that Billy’s shady Uncle Sto Continue Reading...

Someone Bought This: Duke Droese on the job on his trading card

‘ I was browsing through some pictures of 1995 WWF trading cards (it’s a cornucopia of WrestleCrap gimmicks!) on this excellent wrestling trading card site.  I like this card because it shows ol’ Duke “The Dumpster” Droese on the job in the garbage dump… which is appropriate because mid-90’s WWF often reminds me of a garbage dump… Okay, so he’s a garbage Continue Reading...

Someone Bought This: WWF Colorforms

14 Submitted by on Mon, 16 February 2015, 02:00
Colorforms were pretty simple- they were vinyl stickers that stuck to a shiny mat using static electricity. And they were awesome! If you didn’t have some kind of Colorforms set as a kid, I pity you. The WWF Colorforms set includes wrestlers, accessories, and their logos that you can stick to a scene showing a wrestling ring in an arena. Continue Reading...

Someone Bought This: WWF Superstars Of The New Generation magazine

Crapper Louis Izzo writes: Hello again from a long-time ‘Crapper. As someone who collects worthless magazines published by the WWF, it’s no surprise that for a while, they released yearly specials that is basically a reminder of what the roster is to casual fans. The series appeared to be discontinued after the 1993 issue (Superstars VIII), possibly because Vince McMahon Continue Reading...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ss00y9rYWA Crappers; I have another really obscure “treat” for you, today! If you’ve read R.D’s induction of 2/3rds of the “Thunder In Paradise” TV movies, or you’ve seen the show for yourself; you know just how bad Hulk Hogan’s Thunder In Paradise TV show really was.  Okay, so it was pretty much just “Knight Rider” with a magic boat instead Continue Reading...
