Someone Bought This: Hasbro Jake “The Snake” Roberts rubber Damien snake and bag

(I know R.D has already posted this same item as a “SBT Classic, but I found some alternative pictures of it). In 1991 the WWF and Hasbro actually had the gaul to sell an overpriced 40″ long rubber snake and nylon drawstring bag to kids. And what’s worse is that they did it not long after Earthquake “squashed” the real Continue Reading...

Someone Bought This: Hulk Hogan’s mystery-meat “cheese” burgers (with Melt)

Hulk Hogan “Cheese” Burgers. I put “Cheese” in quotes because I somehow doubt these things have any real cheese made from milk in them. This is more like the kind of toy your Grandma or Aunt whom you only see once a year buys you for Christmas because Continue Reading...

I found this article on WWF Superstars cereal. Ralston’s cereals were always pretty good (Remember their Batman cereal?). The WWF Superstars cereal box helpfully says: SPOONSIZE SUPERSTARS HINT OF VANILLA. ARTIFICIALLY FLAVORED. SWEET, BUT NO PUSHOVER. Wait a minute… “Sweet, but no pushover”? I get the cute wrestling wordplay, but I don’t even understand what that’s supposed to mean in relation to Continue Reading...

Someone Bought This: Scott Steiner’s Freak Tunes: The Big Poppa Pump Soundtrack

When I first spotted this Scott Steiner “Freak Tunes” CD on Amazon my head filled with glorious visions of Scott in a cheap, ill-fitting rented tuxedo with that stupid chain-mail thing on his head, singing/screaming a song like Glo-Worm to a cheesy Karaoke background track at an airport in the middle of nowhere. How fantastic would that have been? I Continue Reading...
