Someone Bought This: Duke Droese on the job on his trading card

‘ I was browsing through some pictures of 1995 WWF trading cards (it’s a cornucopia of WrestleCrap gimmicks!) on this excellent wrestling trading card site.  I like this card because it shows ol’ Duke “The Dumpster” Droese on the job in the garbage dump… which is appropriate because mid-90’s WWF often reminds me of a garbage dump… Okay, so he’s a garbage Continue Reading...

Someone Bought This: WWF Colorforms

14 Submitted by on Mon, 16 February 2015, 02:00
Colorforms were pretty simple- they were vinyl stickers that stuck to a shiny mat using static electricity. And they were awesome! If you didn’t have some kind of Colorforms set as a kid, I pity you. The WWF Colorforms set includes wrestlers, accessories, and their logos that you can stick to a scene showing a wrestling ring in an arena. Continue Reading...

Someone Bought This: WWF Superstars Of The New Generation magazine

Crapper Louis Izzo writes: Hello again from a long-time ‘Crapper. As someone who collects worthless magazines published by the WWF, it’s no surprise that for a while, they released yearly specials that is basically a reminder of what the roster is to casual fans. The series appeared to be discontinued after the 1993 issue (Superstars VIII), possibly because Vince McMahon Continue Reading...

Someone Bought This: Hulk Hogan Thunder In Paradise Interactive video game for the CD-I

21 Submitted by on Sat, 14 February 2015, 02:00 Crappers; I have another really obscure “treat” for you, today! If you’ve read R.D’s induction of 2/3rds of the “Thunder In Paradise” TV movies, or you’ve seen the show for yourself; you know just how bad Hulk Hogan’s Thunder In Paradise TV show really was.  Okay, so it was pretty much just “Knight Rider” with a magic boat instead Continue Reading...

Someone Bought This: WWF Postcards and Bumper Stickers

From the Merchandise Catalog in the Winter 1988 issue of WWF Wrestling Spotlight #3 (featuring Brutus “The Barber Beefcake) comes some WWF Postcards and Bumper Stickers. I just love the idea of some kid sending a Demolition postcard to Grandma, or a family having a Macho Man bumper sticker on their wood panel mini van. “If You Look Like The Ultimate Continue Reading...

We’ve covered WrestleMania: The Album and its music videos endlessly over the years here on WrestleCrap, and R.D has inducted the contents of this video already, but I just had to show you the cover to this, the “WWF Superstars: The Music Video” VHS tape. The music videos include, WrestleMania, Summerslam Jam, USA Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Speaking from the Heart Macho Continue Reading...

Someone Bought This: WCW Jeff Jarrett Slap Nuts foam guitar

14 Submitted by on Thu, 05 February 2015, 02:00
Hey, remember when WCW tried to get Jeff Jarrett over with the “Listen up, Slap Nuts!” and “Choke on that, Slap Nuts!” catch phrases? Yeah, someone thought that “Slap Nuts” would catch on with the public at large. Anyway, WCW sold this pink (?) foam guitar with “Slap Nuts” on it. Kind of makes those Hulk Hogan foam fingers seem Continue Reading...

Just break out your mammoth-sized 64 count box of Crayola crayons (with the badass built in crayon sharpener!)… …and get to work making Hulk Hogan blue with a green shirt or whatever. Someone Bought This: WCW Crazy Dips candy

14 Submitted by on Mon, 02 February 2015, 02:00
Matt from X-Entertainment took a trip to his local video store to buy some old candy, and this WCW Crazy Dips candy is just one of the weird candies he came back with. It’s a lollipop in the shape of a foot (?) that you dip into fruit-flavored tart sugar. Gene Snitsky approves! But “Rick Flair” probably does not (whoever Continue Reading...

“I’m the man that rules Nintendo!” -Bobby “The Video Game Brain” Heenan. From WWF “Prime Time Wrestling” in 1992, Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan go one on one in an epic battle playing WWF “Super WrestleMania on the Super Nintendo while Vince McMahon calls all the action! Someone Bought This: WWE Sticker Book

As Hulk Hogan famously said… “You fans can stick it, brother” …right in this WWE Sticker Book! The idea is that you buy the blank sticker book, and then you buy packs of random stickers with pictures of wrestlers on them to trade with friends and put in the book. And if I had known about this, I totally would Continue Reading...

No, despite the obvious similarities in appearance; this is not in fact a current photo of Miley Cyrus.. Our good friend (and of course, Crapper!) Someone Bought This: Hasbro Jake “The Snake” Roberts rubber Damien snake and bag

(I know R.D has already posted this same item as a “SBT Classic, but I found some alternative pictures of it). In 1991 the WWF and Hasbro actually had the gaul to sell an overpriced 40″ long rubber snake and nylon drawstring bag to kids. And what’s worse is that they did it not long after Earthquake “squashed” the real Continue Reading...
